About Me
Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life. --
With this guiding principle, I began my career as a software developer in October 2015—and have lived by it ever since.
Since August 2014, I have been working intensively with the Unity Game Engine, which I first explored during my computer science studies at Osnabrück University in various academic projects and later deepened primarily through personal hobby projects.
In May 2018, I turned my hobby into my profession: I moved to Munich and joined VRON GmbH as a VR developer using Unity and Unreal Engine. In an interdisciplinary team, I developed multi-user VR applications for industry and gradually took on responsibilities in prototyping, client workshops, and technical conception. The employment ended due to a company-wide restructuring that resulted in large-scale layoffs—an outcome I regretted deeply, as I valued the work environment and projects personally.
I then moved to Travian Games as a Senior Unity Developer. In an agile mobile team, I worked on the technical implementation of a cross-platform port of Travian Legends, deepening my expertise in API integration, automated code generation, and test-driven development. At the same time, I realized how essential creative freedom and active collaboration are to me—elements that were unfortunately lacking in this role. This insight was pivotal in reorienting my career path.
In December 2020, I opened a new chapter: with C4rtwork, I founded my own company to transform my passion for creative technologies, technical precision, and solution-oriented thinking into bespoke software products. My first client project confirmed this step—the successful kickoff laid the foundation for a steadily growing freelance business. Today, as a freelancer, I enjoy the freedom to work across industries, tackle complex challenges, and deliver bespoke software solutions that delight and impress.
Between April 2021 and March 2023, I held full technical responsibility for a major digitization project at Riederbau. Together with a team of front- and back-end developers, I designed and developed a Microsoft Teams app for efficient construction process management—based on modern Azure technologies.
Alongside my freelance work, from August 2023 to August 2024, I gained valuable experience in the automotive industry at Mercedes Benz Tech Motion in Stuttgart through an employee leasing assignment. In this innovative environment, I further honed my ability to coordinate multiple complex projects simultaneously and drive them to successful completion.
From October 2024 to March 2025, I supported the AI company UVND Technology as a technical consultant and developer in advancing the “Lucy” platform. Together, we integrated modern open-source voice bots, powerful LLMs, and developed a graphical no-code flow builder. Although a planned joint re-founding as a GmbH did not materialize, the collaboration was both professionally and personally enriching and opened up valuable perspectives in AI development.
What drives me is enthusiasm for technological challenges and the opportunity to create real value with modern tools and frameworks. Whether immersive 3D experiences, scalable cloud architectures, or intelligent AI-based systems—I am passionate about bringing visions to life and translating ideas into well-thought-out, sustainable software solutions.
If you’re looking for someone who understands, anticipates, and reliably implements your digital vision, I look forward to hearing from you.
Let’s unlock the potential of modern technologies together—for projects that not only work but also inspire.
Sincerely,
Christoph Brucksch
